Thoughts

Do we judge our thoughts? Isn't it futile to do so? A thought is just that, a thought; there's no point in being proud or ashamed or scared of it. The only thing we control is the action that ensues from it. We can choose to accept, implement or just do nothing about it. And it is that action that defines the person, the character, and probably life? We have the choice, even with our thoughts. That's quite a cool realization for me. Freedom, even from thoughts. There has to be a fuckin soul!
So my blog is futile till I begin Doing It. That might be the main theme of my blog now, thoughts that inspire me to 'metamorphosise' :) or maybe not :)

YEAH, we do judge our thoughts!!!
Most thoughts have a character and an emotion attached to it. It is this emotion that defines how the thought translates into an action. The emotion of pride, shame , fear, happiness,love...etc should be designated to a thought in order for it come alive! Although it is the action that defines the the person, a thought without a character will always remain as a thought in that person's mind. It rarely gets executed, so then what is the point in having a futile thought?
'Freedom, from thoughts'- how can we have freedom from thought??? its impossible. to be free from thoughts would be to transcend into 'NO THOUGHT'. I think a thoughtless mind is a barren mind. The lack of character to a thought would make it emotionless and hence would be implemented as an action that has no significance! For instance, NOSTALGIA is a thought that elicits and emotion. You cannot relate with a nostalgic thought without having an emotion/feeling to it, be it happiness,sadness,fear,love/hate......goes on and on.

Gee, in my mind most emotionless thoughts end up in the recycle bin ;)
good luck!

I meant freedom from thought in the sense that you don't need to be 'haunted' by your thoughts; you have a choice even to that point. As long as you realize its just a thought di... then you become a passive observer of yourself instead of being thrown around in your mind. When emotions are attached to a thought, I think it becomes tough to be objective about a situation.
